You are born into a world of beauty, a world of unending opportunity. For years, as you begin to grow, your mind is filled with grand ideas of the future you will have, of all the things you’ll do. The world is your oyster. All of a sudden you have to start going to school, it’s just a few hours so it really doesn’t seem so bad. However, over the years you end up spending nearly 7 hours at a desk while you’re being talked to in a demeaning manner. Every day, you return to that desk, you sit, and learn what exactly? Nothing important.
A vomit of almost pointless facts spill from the mouths of your teachers.
All the while, your life fades into obscurity. Your soul is denied adventure and meaningful challenge, your body is denied the warm sun. What’s worse: you’re a stranger to your soul, a friend to yourself is a friendship never made. Yet you must return to that desk day after day and listen to your teachers, no matter what they say.
And remember, do NOT question those almighty gods that stand before you to bestow their eternal wisdom upon you, that wisdom being their knowledge of how to walk through life.
Look here, their formula is clear:
-Graduate high school
-Go to college
-Get a job
-Have a family
-Retire
-Die
Perhaps you follow the path, yet it isn’t what it seems. You can’t think your own thoughts, you can’t speak your own words, you can’t do what you wish, you can’t act as a friend to yourself. You were not challenged to pick yourself up, nor did you see all that you could have been. Your life was a collection of everyone else’s thoughts and ideas of the world. Never did you build a world for yourself.
The relationships you have lack a holy depth that necessitates a true sense of love. How could you love or be loved if your soul is abandoned in obscurity? Those who love you, love a shell. There is no ‘you’. As you come to the end of your life, you realize that it was all for nought. At every chance you get, you curse the world. You curse the world to your children, you curse the world to your spouse, to strangers. The microscopic pieces of your soul which you did manage to hold onto are boiled away in your hatred of the world. You complain of all that was inflicted upon you. Let me tell you, if you’re looking for someone to blame, you need only to look into a mirror.Your path was among the masses, your life was lived for the world. Now you die an old, angry man, spitting as he cries his final curse.
The plight of young men is the control, constriction, and eventual strangulation of their souls. Hours upon hours of meaningless schooling drives away their desire to venture out into the world with a free and open mind, a mind that can seek out any opportunity and overcome any challenge. The formula for life (mentioned above), which teachers preach incessantly, will rape pillage and destroy every bit of you.
Guide your sons toward freedom. Protect their souls until it is time they must protect their own. Enough is enough, the time for the enslaved mind is over.
