Charles Hugh Smith is your dad ...

No need to tell you that it's him who wrote the book: Self-Reliance in the 21st. Century.

I do not have a copy yet, but according to Amazon, it boils down to: cooperating with trustworthy others in PRODUCTIVE networks !!!

Your general skills, thus far encompass:

Ranching, Horse/Mule packing, EMT skills, Rappelling (little rock climbing), Writing, little bit of Spanish, Chess, Horsemanship.

Lets assume SHTF in short time. Which of the above mentioned skills will make you the most appreciated asset in the community ? Maybe EMT and horsemanship with packing.

Elon Musk once aid: Out there in the world, there is NO STUFF (OK, some fruit and veggies are there, but...), unless you make it. Which means PRODUCTION/ASSEMBLY.

The skills/knowledge I mentioned in my previous reply deal with exactly that.

Please consider acquiring some of those ASAP !!!
